Pastor Patricia Buck Rudolph

Patricia A. Buck Rudolph was born and raised in the Washington, DC area, where she attended DC Public Schools.  She also attended Howard University, Duke Ellington School of Arts, Prince Georges Community College, National Bible College, and Seminary School.  She received her Associate Degree of Biblical Studies, Bachelor of Theology, and Masters of Theological Studies from National Bible College and Seminary School. She met and married Joe F. Rudolph in April 1991. They are blessed with two daughters, Donnetta Taylor-Epps and Michelle Rudolph, three grandsons, Maurice Taylor, Jacob, and Caleb Rudolph, two granddaughters, Shantel Taylor and Arlene Epps, two great-grandsons, Izaiah Davis and Milliano Guzman, one son-in-law, Derrick Epps, and four Godchildren, Cecelia Washington, Walter M. Harris, III, Michelle Goodman, and Bernard Harris, Jr. Patricia worked 28 years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield as an Assistant Supervisor until the company downsized jobs. She then began working where she is presently employed in the office of Phillips & Green, M.D. LP Orthopedic, where she oversees the entire practice of 5 orthopedic doctors and 44 employees.

In 1957, Patricia became a member of Shaw UMC, where she first met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was baptized. While under the guidance and mentorship of the late Rev E.W. Stevenson, she slowly began to take on many leadership roles in the church and soon discovered that there was a calling on her life. She served as Chairperson of Worship for several years and began her ministry in music through directing the Jr. Youth Chorale Ensemble (which she later named the M.M. Tate Youth Choir after the mother of the church, Mary M. Tate).  Other choirs that she worked with were the Damasca Lights, Gospel Messenger, and The Voices of Triumph. Patricia also sang in a small group called the Spiritualettes.  She could travel and minister in several states throughout the East Coast, including Connecticut, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia, which also included baptizing eighteen family members and friends at their family reunion in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  She was allowed to take piano lessons with the late Lucille Banks- Robinson Miller and vocal lessons at the Duke Ellington School of Arts.

After spending years working with the music ministry at A.P. Shaw United Methodist, Patricia heard and obeyed the voice of God.  After her mother’s death, she began crying out to God, asking Him, “What will you have me to do?” That night, God spoke using her former Pastor Bernard Keels who talked to her in a dream telling her to read and do what the Bible says.  The scripture was Psalm 51:12-13. At that moment, she was willing to pursue the next level of her ministry.  She then accepted the calling of preaching the Gospel. Later, Patricia was interviewed and accepted by the Board of Ordained Ministry by the United Methodist Conference.  While training, the Spirit of the highest living God gave her the following assignment and moved her to Bethel Christian Fellowship Ministry under the leadership of two anointed vessels of God, Pastors Ronald and Christine Miles.  She was licensed on May 22, 1999, as an Evangelist and served on the Ministerial Staff and Chairperson for Membership and Pastoral Care Ministry. As the scripture says, “A man’s gift will make room for him and bring him before great men.”

Evangelist Rudolph traveled and ministered to the gospel in several churches, including in Georgia and North Carolina.  She continued to hear the voice of God speaking to her through the Apostle Paul, telling her to press toward the mark of her higher calling in Christ Jesus through dreams, visions, and scriptures.  God sent her back to the United Methodist Church.  She became a member of St. Paul @ Oxon Hill United Methodist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Rodney Smothers, an anointed servant of God.   Pastor Smothers received and immediately started preparing her for the next assignment from God. During her seasons of preparation for ministry, Pastor Smothers encouraged and put Patricia to work, teaching Bible Study Classes on “Prayer” and using her gifts for other areas in the church, including joining the Ministerial Staff. Pastor Ernest D. Lyles of Shaw United Methodist Church asked her to come back home to help encourage the people of God to move forward in ministries. She was used to preaching and teaching and became the Prayer Ministry's leader until God gave her the next assignment for ministry.

On November 30, 2013, Patricia received her ordination license as a Reverend by Pastor Georgie C. Solomon under No Giant Steps Ministries. Being led by the Holy Spirit, in January of 2014, she visited Shalom Ministries Christian Center, under the anointed leadership of Bishop Florida Morehead, who appointed her pastor over the ministers and teaching bible study. She is still hearing the voice of God and has received much encouragement from those who witness the call on her life to pastor God’s people. On January 5, 2020, she finally established Redeem Praise Ministries and was installed as Sr. Pastor. Rev. Rudolph’s faith in God has blessed and appointed her as the founding Pastor of Redeem Praise Ministries on March 3, 2014. God has reminded her that Redeem Praise will be a Saving Station for All People, and they will know that they are His people, and He is their God….
